Theory, demo, and hands-on on O.P.U.S
simulator, and laptop-based 4D view software.
Basic 2D US skills in Gynecology as per standards,
is a pre-requisite for delegates who wish to enroll
for this course.
Delegates are expected to bring their own laptops.
O.P.U.S is the latest generation in
simulation.
This advanced technology conveys a live scanning
experience. 2D US of a wide range of pathologies
of the uterus, ovaries and adnexa will be covered in
detail on the simulator
Practical learning of 3D in Gynecology will be
facilitated via 4D view demo software loaded on the
trainee laptops. The course will address the nuances
of 3D regarding volume acquisition, volume manipulation
and volume display. 3D practice will go
alongside 2D hands-on to ensure an integrated
learning.
The two-day workshop will also include Doppler in
Gynecology, and infertility.
