Basic and Advanced First Trimester Screening Workshop in Vapi/ Daman

EmpowerUS, in partnership with Fetal Vision, organised a hands-on workshop on Basic and Advanced First Trimester Screening in the lovely coastal town of Vapi/ Daman, Gujarat, on the 6th and 7th of December 2025.

Steered online by Dr Supriya Seshadri and onsite by Dr Vartika Mohan and Dr Ramdas B , the 2-day workshop covered first-trimester scan essentials, from the basic principles of screening for aneuploidies and preeclampsia to advanced FTS screening with USG markers.

Extensive Hands-on ultrasound Sessions for measuring CRL, NT, Fetal biometry, DV, TR, and Uterine dopplers were well interspersed with crisp lectures on The Fetal Medicine Foundation screening criteria, how to calculate risk, prenatal genetics, which tests to order, case studies and interactive Q&A sessions.
