Basic Cardiac Hands-on ultrasound course

The Basic fetal cardia course, a simulator-based based hands on course successfully concluded under the guidance of Dr Anita Kaul, led by Dr Nupur Shah alongwith Dr Chandrakant Garg and Dr Urvashi Chhikara.

The hands-on simulation practice and demonstration gave the candidates confidence in the sequential segmental analysis of complex cardiac defects. The extensive program gave them supervised practice of normal and a plethora of abnormal cardiac cases, which would be impossible in a live scan room in a single day.

The teaching of fetal cardia in the course “simplified” the complex topic, as one of the delegates commented at the end of the course.
