Dr Urvashi Chhikara has completed her MBBS and MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, DNB (OBG) by National Board of examinations (NBE) and Senior Residency from Lok Nayak Hospital.

She then pursued her 2 year fellowship in Fetal Medicine from Apollo Centre for Fetal Medicine, New Delhi (FMF UK accredited). She is currently working as Attending Consultant in Department of Fetal medicine, New Delhi and Visiting Consultant at Apollo Hospitals, Noida.

Her special interests are fetal cardia, multiple pregnancies and fetal interventions. She is engaged in multiple ultrasound training programmes- OPUS simulator courses for cardiac imaging, anomaly course, FOGSI-FMFI certificate course in ultrasound in pregnancy, FUP ultrasound course.

She has publications and research articles in various national and international journals.
