Successful completion of the 5th Fetal Anomalies hands-on ultrasound course with 20 participants from all across India.
Spread over 2 days, the course keeps evolving to ensure that Indian practitioners meet the FMF/ ISUOG International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology standards of the Mid-Trimester Anomaly scan. This includes from the basics of Situs through the 7 anatomical systems.
There was a Live demonstration session to ensure the correct technique was imbibed. There were 2 days of extensive hands-on practice by the dedicated delegates and enough time to ask questions and get doubts cleared.
Each session included a brief theoretical presentation followed by up to 14 hours of interactive hands-on practice simulator sessions led by Dr Anita Kaul Fetalmedicine India, Dr Divya Singh MD, Dr Urvashi Chhikara, and Dr Dr. Vartika Mohan.
Counselling tips, an overview on 2nd Trimester genetic screening and templates of reports for mid-trimester scan were shared with all delegates.

It was an enriching experience diving deep into anomaly scanning, refining skills that are crucial for early and accurate fetal anomaly detection.
